Mini Craft Calendar - Project Collection

If you already know how to crochet chain stitches and single crochet stitches, this mini craft project takes a couple of minutes a day to track your mood. At the end of the week, you will have a mood tracker strip that reflects your feelings from that week and a small desktop décor piece that carries your story. I used mine as a display mat for my maneki-neko (招き猫) collection.

When I first got into crafting, I enjoyed making my own accessories. Pin cushions are among my favorites, as they help to keep needles in place. This coaster uses two basic crochet stitches and has a nice, simplistic texture. Using bulky yarn or yarn that is on the thicker side of medium weight gives a better result for this project because it creates a sturdier feel for the coasters.
