Spooky the Ghost Halloween Crochet Pattern

Crochet this no-sew amigurumi ghost for the spooky season! Spooky the Ghost, wearing a witch's hat, makes a great seasonal ornament. The undulating shape of the body is perfect for a ghost on the go and gives Spooky a life-like look (almost!).

This Halloween crochet pattern is worked from the hat to the bottom; everything is crocheted together. If you use a lighter-weight yarn and smaller-size hook, you can make a smaller Spooky for a keychain.

Materials you will need:

• Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm
• Yarn: Size 4 medium weight (approx. 50 yards of white, 5 yards of black, 20 yards of purple, 5 yards of yellow)
• One pair of 6 mm safety eyes
• Fiber fill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors

As a reference, with Size 4 Medium yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, Spooky the Ghost will be approximately 6” tall and 3” across on the bottom.

Following the same instructions, I used Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread (size 10) and a 1.25mm crochet hook to make a smaller-size Spooky also. It’s a good size (approx. 2.75’’ tall and 1.5’’ across on the bottom) for adding to a keychain.
